With the concept theme of "A Relaxing and Warm Place to Rest on Your Journey in the Nature of Akan," the lobby and restaurant have been redesigned and upgraded.

■ Notice regarding Bathing Tax Revision (from April 2025)
Thank you very much for your continued patronage of "THE FOREST AKAN TSURUGA RESORT".
Due to the revision of the Kushiro City Tax Ordinance, the bathing tax rate will be revised as follows:
・For stays until March 31, 2025: 250 yen per person aged 13 years and over per night
・For stays from April 01, 2025: 300 yen per person aged 13 years and over per night
※Reservations already made prior to this announcement are also subject to this change.
※Please note that due to system limitations, the bathing tax may be shown as 250 yen under your reservation details for stays from 1st April 2025, but 300 yen will be charged on the day.

■ Notice regarding Accommodation Tax in Hokkaido and Kushiro City (from April 2026)
In Hokkaido, where our hotel is located, an accommodation tax will be introduced for stays starting from Wednesday, April 1, 2026. A separate Kushiro City accommodation tax will also be applied, depending on your specific area of stay.
These accommodation taxes will be utilized to promote tourism, contributing to the development of the local community and Hokkaido's economy.
Effective Date :
For stays starting from Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
This applies to all reservations, including those made prior to this announcement.
Who is Subject to the Tax:
All guests staying at accommodation facilities in Hokkaido, including children.
Total Tax Amount:
The tax amount varies depending on the accommodation fee per person, per night:
Up to ¥19,999: ¥300 (¥100 for Hokkaido, ¥200 for Kushiro City)
¥20,000 to ¥49,999: ¥400 (¥200 for Hokkaido, ¥200 for Kushiro City)
¥50,000 and above: ¥700 (¥500 for Hokkaido, ¥200 for Kushiro City)
