Introduction of the Niseko Accommodation Tax in Niseko Town
Niseko Town is implementing an accommodation tax to provide a constant source of self-generated revenue to support the development of a sustainable and appealing tourist destination. The goal is to create initiatives that protect Niseko's environment and landscapes, enhancing the town's appeal as a safe, enriching and healing resort destination while also promoting sustainable tourism that aligns with residents' daily lives.

*Reservations made before the announcement are also subject to the tax.
◆Taxable Persons: All guests (including children) staying at accommodation facilities in Niseko Town
◆Tax rate (Depending on the accommodation charges, and calculated based on the room rate per person per night, excluding tax)

■ Notice regarding Accommodation Tax in Hokkaido (from April 2026)
In Hokkaido's Niseko Town, where our hotel is located, the Hokkaido accommodation tax will be introduced for stays starting from Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Additionally, a separate Niseko Town accommodation tax will also be applied, depending on the specific area of your stay.
This accommodation tax will be utilized to promote tourism, contributing to the development of the local community and Hokkaido's economy.
Effective Date :
For stays starting from Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
This applies to all reservations, including those made prior to this announcement.
Who is Subject to the Tax:
All guests staying at accommodation facilities in Hokkaido, including children.
Total Tax Amount:
The tax amount varies depending on the accommodation fee per person, per night:
Up to ¥5,000: ¥200 (¥100 for Hokkaido, ¥100 for Niseko Town)
¥5,001 to ¥19,999: ¥300 (¥100 for Hokkaido, ¥200 for Niseko Town)
¥20,000 to ¥49,999: ¥700 (¥200 for Hokkaido, ¥500 for Niseko Town)
¥50,000 to ¥99,999: ¥1,500 (¥500 for Hokkaido, ¥1,000 for Niseko Town)
¥100,000 and above: ¥2,500 (¥500 for Hokkaido, ¥2,000 for Niseko Town)
